December Doings in Angola

Christmas preparations are in full gear in Northern Indiana. Yes, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere we go!

The Relief Society Christmas dinner was delicious.

We enjoyed being Santa's little helpers at the Allen County Country Christmas in Fort Wayne.

The Fairview Missionary Church's Bethlehem Marketplace is a must-see in Angola each year.

Santa came to Fremont and the missionaries were there to help with the activities.

Elder Davis & Elder Anderton - naughty or nice?
Oh yes, we watched (not assisted in!) the birth of a new baby on the farm.

Our early Christmas presents - a new elder (Elder Lemieux) and a new district. We welcome them all!!

Welcome Sister Davis and Elder Gardner.

It took us a year, but we finally found the "famous" Powers Church!

We had a great Branch Christmas dinner and program. New this year? Our very own "Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus".

When Gingerbread the Reindeer came to the Fremont Library, Sister Wilson needed some extra help. So, who ya gonna call? That's right - the missionaries! We're always glad to help.

Our Christmas preparations are almost complete. We just need to finish delivering our goodies to the members and friends.

Thanksgiving in Indiana

Can't believe we have have been in Angola for one whole year! The time is really flying by! The holiday brought us more company, which we loved. Thank you Ryan and Shelley, Seth, Emma, and Erin, Emily and Geoff, Alex, Hayley, and Mac, and David for coming out to visit us. Also, Uncle Bruce, for your short visit. We enjoyed lots of good food at the Martins, Balls, and Bubbas, puzzle night, game night, movie night, visit to the ACD Museum in Auburn, and, of course, no Indiana trip is complete without a trip to Shipshewana.

They loved the dopey dough at Bubbas!

The grandchildren needed to check out the elders' apartment. They were quite impressed.

Our other special event for this weekend was Brandy's baptism. So proud of her!
