More Meetings & Eatings

We were in Fort Wayne on Tuesday for our Zone Meeting with a quick lunch at Five Guys before returning to our areas to work, work, work.

Speaking of work, Elder Mac is getting very good at returning these library books to their proper places on the shelves. (Someone has to do it and missionaries are really cheap labor!!!)

Wednesday took us to Marion for a multi-zone training with Dr. & Sister Dunn. Afterwards, lunch at Steak 'n Shake. (It made the Elders happy.)

Sisters Jacobson, Wight, and McClellan didn't actually go straight home. We joined up with the Angola Relief Society sisters and, in celebration of Passover, were able to attend a traditional Jewish Seder at Achduth Vesholom Temple in downtown Fort Wayne. We enjoyed a delicious meal complete with matzah (unleavened bread), maror (bitter herbs), and other dishes of symbolic significance. Rabbi Cattapan told us that closely associated with the meal is the duty of parents to teach their children about the Exodus (Haggadah) so that each generation of Jews relives that great experience and understands its meaning.
I could go on and on about this fascinating evening, but I think you get the idea. Anyway, it was a great opportunity - one we will fondly remember for a long time!!
