Dinner & the Temple

Time to report on our extra curricular activities for the week. Friday evening was spent in Muncie where we enjoyed dinner with the senior couples serving in the northern part of the mission. After a delicious Italian meal, we continued the 'get together' at the Ball State Institute for more visiting and dessert. Thanks to the Tippetts for making the arrangements. (Ball State was founded in 1917 by the Ball brothers who make the Ball canning jars. There are over 21,000 students enrolled. The institute building is a cute little house just off campus with about 50 LDS students. Elder and Sister Tippets live in a little Hobbit Hole in the back! haha)

Our stake temple day was Saturday. We met the buses in Fort Wayne for the three hour ride to the Chicago Temple. We were able to do two sessions before reloading the buses for the three hour ride back home. We had a great time and enjoyed getting to know more people in the stake.
